Driven by purpose.

Meet Matt Moritz, founder of Motive Property Group. Matt's path into property hasn't been a traditional one.

For nearly 20 years, he's owned and operated businesses across multiple trades within the building industry. Along the way, Matt and his family have bought, sold, built and renovated multiple properties themselves - experience that taught him to look beyond how a property is presented and understand what actually sits behind it.

Moving deeper into the property sector brought that experience together with something Matt had always genuinely enjoyed - negotiation and working towards a fair deal.

Along the way, he also saw a side of the property industry that didn't sit particularly well with him. Too often, genuine property advice can get lost behind sales pitches, polished appearances, industry noise and pressure. The conversation can quickly move away from what really matters - helping people.

Matt believed there was room for a different approach. Less salesmanship and industry noise. More straight talk, practical experience and independent advice. Support that starts with understanding what someone is actually trying to achieve, then helping them make the right property decision for their circumstances - whether that means moving forward, negotiating differently, taking another path or sometimes simply walking away.

That's why Motive Property Group was created.

Motive is built around the belief that every property decision should be made with purpose. Whether you're buying your first home or your fifth, negotiating on a property or preparing to sell, you should understand what you're doing, why you're doing it and have someone genuinely in your corner.

Our role is to bring experience, perspective and practical advice to the table, cut through the noise and help you make informed property decisions with confidence.

That's what Motive is about - straight advice, better decisions and property with purpose.
